Respirable essential oil:
secretomotor, secretolytic, broncholytic;

Adjunct for treatment with antibiotics

Composition:
1 capsule contains 0.15 g spike oil

Properties and mechanism of action
The only agent inside the enteric capsule of Tavipec is spike oil, the oil of a lavender species.
Tavipec is a safe expectorant, as it has an secretolytic and secretomotor effect.
Adhesive secretory product is liquefied and actively transported towards the mouth so that it can easily be coughed up.

Indications
Acute and chronic infectious bronchitis, chronic obstructive lung disease, bronchiectasis
To support treatment with antibiotics.

Dosage
1 to 2 capsules unchewed 3 times per day before meals

Contraindications
To date no contraindications are known.

Pregnancy and lactation
Application during pregnancy and lactation is possible.
