Urinary incontinence

Inkontan is used to treat bladder instability (involuntary urination urge and urination with no clear cause) or detrusor hyperreflexia (impaired urination due to hyperactivitiy of the bladder muscle) with symptoms of

  • Frequent urination urge
  • Strong uncontrollable urinary urge and
  • Involuntary urine loss (incontinence) with severe urinary urge

Effective strengths and package sizes

  • Inkontan 15 mg film-coated tablets: 20 or 50 film-coated tablets
  • Inkontan 30 mg film-coated tablets: 20 or 50 film-coated tablets

Active ingredient

Trospium chloride

The film-coated tablets of both effective strengths are convex on one side and can be divided by a special score line (SNAP-TAB) into two equal parts.

To do this, place the tablet on a hard surface and press on the break notch with the thumb (press briefly and vigorously).

The 15 mg film tablet is provided with an embossment “0” on the other side for the purpose of distinguishing the 30 mg film coated tablet from the 15 mg film coated tablet.
