Nagging cough, runny nose & fever
Typical signs of a viral infection can be a cough, a runny nose and fever. The changing of the seasons can also encourage a viral infection. Often, rapid variations in temperature are the culprit – as a result of rapid changes in the general weather in just one or two days. These frequent changes between heat and cold put a heavy strain on the immune system and, at the same time, weaken the body's defences, thereby making viral infections more likely.
Naturally free breathing
Extra strong with broadleaved lavender oil
What counts now is rapid help from the inside: with their broadleaved lavender essential oil, Taviforte Capsules liquefy viscous mucus, promote expectoration and inhibit inflammation right at the scene. Taviforte frees the airways and rapidly helps those suffering with a cold to breathe freely and easily again.
When do you use Taviforte, and what does Taviforte do?
Taviforte is an herbal medicinal product used to treat the symptoms of acute bronchitis and provide supportive treatment for sinusitis or cough associated with a cold in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.
Taviforte liquefies viscous and stuck mucus. The cilia of the airways become more mobile and are enabled to better fulfil their transport task. The self-cleansing mechanism of the mucous membrane is restored.
Like an inhalation from the inside, the essential oil flows through the ramifications of the respiratory tract, exerting its effect directly at the site of action:
- Promoting expectoration
Did you know that antibiotics only work on bacteria?
Acute respiratory infections are caused by viruses, not bacteria, in more than 90% of cases.* Antibiotics are ineffective against infections caused by viruses.¹
In case of a viral infection – i.e. about 90% of cases – herbal medicinal products like Taviforte are suitable for alleviating the symptoms.²
In cases where the infection proves to be indeed of bacterial origin and an antibiotic is prescribed, the additional intake of Taviforte can help your body heal quickly. For Taviforte can be combined with antibiotics.
Consult your treating physician to determine whether your respiratory tract infection is of viral or bacterial origin.
